Determining surface quality
Test Laboratory for Roughness Measurement & Surface Roughness DIN EN ISO 21920
We measure the surface roughness of metals, plastics, and engineering components with precision and in accordance with industry standards. Using our tactile measuring machine compliant with DIN EN ISO 21920-2, as well as supplementary 3D measurements via the LSM microscope, we reliably and reproducibly determine roughness parameters, feature heights, and surface deviations. This provides you with a reliable, traceable assessment of your components’ quality characteristics and ensures consistent measurement results across multiple runs. In addition, our LSM microscope allows us to capture further structural dimensions, enabling us to precisely determine the radius and shape characteristics of surface contours. This provides you with a more comprehensive assessment of manufacturing quality and a better basis for decision-making regarding approvals and optimizations.
